Car theft tow days ago, will i be charged to get my car back from compound?

my car was stolen two days ago they managed to arrest the thievs and charge them , they have kept my car for finger printing i was told that it is kept at a car compond .

will i be charged for getting my car out of car componud and how long before i can get my car back

If the police impounded your car for forensic tests then they can not charge you for storage.

What you might find them do is call you up and say you can pick up your car between 9-10am on a day, but if you are any later then they can start charging you.

I like the fact they caught the scum who TWOC'ed your car.

No, you won't need to pay: they only charge for storage of vehicles towed away for being illegally parked.

the insurance pays for that...police are suposed to release it in 48 hours unless the deside to hold it longer if its been used in a crime.
