Question:

Car tires?

So supposedely the previous owner of my car put on 2,000 dollar German racing tires. It's a 2007 mustang and I bought it lightly used at a Toyota dealership. My question is, did the Toyota dealership take off the German racing tires and put their stock all-weather tires? The brand of them is Barum. Has anyone ever heard of that brand, or know how I can find out?

  1. is ur mustang a gt or the v6? if its a v6 and someone spent 2000 dollars on tires, they were pretty d**n stupid. ya it would be understandable to have on a gt but a v6 mustang is slow 2,000 tires wont make it any faster...

  2. Barum is a very old tire manufacturer, they are from the Czech Republic, they make lots of tires for Continental. I doubt the Toyota dealer would take the trouble to put something as odd as Barums on the car.

  3. If you have internet service, try Yahoo or Google with the name brand.

  4. Go to the link below and pick exactly the tire and size you have to see the pricing I found. There is also a history of the company, which is not in Germany.

  5. #1 rule - never trust anything a used car sales man say.  Do all your research.  The only thing to talk about is the price.

    Good Luck...
