  1. Hmmm, lets see....it has a coolant leak.

Only a shop can tell you WHERE its leaking from though.

  2. Go to your shop of choice and have them perform a cooling system pressure test. This will identify the nature of your leak and then they can give you an estimate to repair it. It could be a loose clamp or a cracked radiator or something else this test will verify what it is.

  3. Take it to a shop to have it pressure tested.  There are several things it could be, mean while your spending alot of money and doing damage to your car.   good luck !

  4. Usually on the 3.1 motors and the 3.4 motors you are leaking coolant from the lower intake manifold. there is a technical service bulletin on this problem.  TSB No.: 03-06-01-010 it would also explain your running hot problem as if this motor gets an air bubble from low coolant it will run hot.

  5. you most likely have a leak

and for the idling problem,i don't know.

  6. Hopefully it's not a head gasket. just go in and get it fixed before you lose your coolant and destroy the engine.

  7.   First off, you need to check under the hood, and under the car(below the engine), to see if you have a leak.  Check all the hoses while the car is running.  If you are refilling antifreeze, or water frequently, there is probably a leak.  Once you've found your problem, call your local auto parts center with a description of your vehicle and problem, they should be helpful.  Good luck

  8. If you have to add that much there should be a puddle under it when it sets. If there isn't it's going inside the engine and you will need to take it to the shop, very costly repair.

  9. find your leak, the possibilities include the radiator and heater hoses, the radiator itself water pump or head gasket

is the fan an electric or is it belt driven, if it is electric the thermostat switch may be bad and if it is belt driven is the belt tite?, the fan clutch (belt driven models) may be bad

or the thermostat may be stuck causing the vehicle to overheat and overpressure the cooling system

  10. it could be different things, like the radiator is leaking, the water pump, a freeze plug, a hose or clamp, different things. look under your car and see if you see any drips.
