Car troubles?

I have a 97 mitsubishi eclipse. Every is alright when i turn it on, but when i have it in park or if i stop on a red light with the engine running, it starts to stutter and shake a lot. When i press the gas make the car move it stutters for a while and then it starts to run normally. whats wrong?

map sensor maybe.

check your vacuum lines cause a car needs vacuum at idle but as speed increases vacuum decreases

I had a car that did exactly that.. then eventually it stopped.   It was the timing in my case. the belt was slipping then eventually just broke off.
