Car turn signals not working/ intermittent?

While driving a few days ago, the turn signals on my car stopped working all of a sudden. I changed the fuse and it then worked for a few days before stopping again.

Now they work fine for a few minutes of driving but will then stop again and come on intermittently every now and then but for only a few "blinks" at a time.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

The flasher is defective.

thats a short in the wiring or the circuit board that holds the bulbs

it could be an electrical fault!

or

a loose wire connection!
