Car was repo about 6 yrs ago voluntarily but they sold it for less,I'm trying to get a letter of release ?

Who could I contact to get a letter of rls of payment ,since I cannot and will not pay the difference because it was undersold..Want to know If I could fight this........................

Could I get a letter since it's been sooooo long........

  1. No they wont until you pay the difference from what the car sold for and what you owe. plus the fees involved in selling and repo ing it. And they may not then being its been so long. No you cant fight it as the papers you signed probably stated all this. The longer you wait the longer it may be on your credit history. Voluntary or involuntary makes no difference you didn't pay for it. You cant change the rules of the game after you signed the contract.........UJN

  3. just pay them the money you owe them.  if you thought that they sold it for to less money, you should have sold it yourself.

    they went to auction.  they are not in the re-sell business.  the quicker they get rid of the car, the quicker they retain some of thier investment.

    All of this was laid out in plain English when you signed the loan papers. If you did not like the terms of the loan you should not have signed the papers... Sorry
