Car window probleems.?

I have a honda pilot from 2004, sometimes when were driving and open the windows, this really annoying sound happens. Its not loud, but its really deep and hurts your whole head. If you have any suggestions or reasons why this would happen, it would help a lot. Thanks!

Best way to diagnose the problem would be to take a door panel off and roll the windows down and up repeatedly, looking at the window track for potential problems. Off hand, I would say that the window track may need to be re-greased or that the window is misaligned where it fits into the track and something is rubbing as a result.

It's resonance, and about the only way to stop it is fit those awful looking wind deflectors to the windows.

The problem's more common with sunroofs.
