  1. As far as I can tell, a new carburetor is outrageously expensive, $408 each.  If the hole is in the float bowl, it looks like this can not be purchased separately.

    What I would attempt to do is to remove the carburetor and disassemble until you have removed the part with the leak.  Clean thoroughly and see if it can be soldered.

    Make sure you do not plug any important passages or cause any interference with any moving parts.

    The model number bike I referenced when I looked up the carburetor was Kawasaki : EX250-F9 Ninja 250R (1995).

    How'd ja get a hole in it?

    If it can be rebuilt, it's about $100 each.

    May not be able to get a new one. Join a forum, and ask it.

    Try www.yahoogroups.com, ans search for (a forum for) your bike. These forums usually have a lot of knowledgeable people in them.
