Explain what CARBON FIXATION is using the following terms:

photosynthesis, carbon dioxide, carbohydrates such as glucose, ATP and NADPH

  1. Photosynthesis is the process where CO2 and light  produce ATP.

    Carbon fixation is the process where CO2 is converted to carbohydrate using ATP and NADPH as an energy source.


  2. when photosynthesis occurs, carbohydrates penetrate deep into the plant causing it's ATP to go up so the plant will get bigger.
