Question:

Carbon Pro CB iron review:?

Just got my custom made Pro CB yesterday and was absolutely happy. I went from Cobra Carbon CB and was thinking of getting the AP2s but didn't like the demo, I made a decision to get fitted for the Pro CB.

I had them bent 1* flatter and about half inch smaller. Went with the 5.0 Rifle shaft.

I was concerned that maybe I'll hit these shorter due to the shaft length and maybe it might feel heavier but I hit these so much better now that they are fit to me than my Carbon CBs!

THe ball flight is higher and the kicker, I'm hitting them a little bit longer. Accuracy is great BUT... they aren't as 'buttery' as my old Cobra Forged SS.

Why?!? Doesn't matter

Boy, I am happy about these and happy I finally got custom fitted because it really made a difference.

I pulled out the 7iron from my carbon CB and just addressing the ball was different. The 1* made a difference, the weight felt great and the Rifle shaft was execellent!

I'm happy with the money spent and can't wait to get a round in

  1. You may feel they're not as "buttery" as the SS, but you may change your tune within a month of playing.  I'm happy to hear someone is happy with a choice in irons they made.  Hit 'em long and straight.  That is the name of the game.
