I went there last summer. It was beautiful and very interesting, full of history that spans many ages, eras, rulers, and cultures. If you are planning a visit, be aware that it is definitely a tourist trap, but one worth visiting. The outer parts of the city are filled with mainly gimicky souvenir type shops and cafes, etc. But go inside for the tour, and it is well worthwhile!
