I was trying to buy some things online with my HSBC solo card. It said to enter my card number. Is this the long number on the front? Because just underneath that next to the issue an expiry date it has another card number? Which one do i use?

  8. Yes, it's the long one across the middle.  Not sure what the shorter number is.

  9. I to have a HSBC account so I know what you mean.  the card number is the long one on the front your account number is the last 8 digits of that long number.

  10. Where it asks you to enter the card number first, as you suggested, you need to enter the full number on the front of the card.

    The second card number refers to the security number which is on the back of the card, on the white strip (should be 3 numbers). It is used to validate your card.
