Card Tricks Please?

Question

I want to learn some card tricks so can anyone teach me some simple but extremely impressive ones? I don't want a website, so if possible can you give me a step by step way to do it?

i dont reveal tricks and i dont condone it. but a lot of noobs reveal tricks on youtube. if you want a free tutorial check that. other wise buy dvds or books.

Who's The Magician

Hand a full deck of cards to a volunteer to shuffle. (Make sure it's a FULL deck.) Ask the volunteer to deal the deck into two piles. Have them choose one of the piles and remember the bottom card. Tell the volunteer to show the bottom card to the audience (anyone else who's there,) but not you. Ask them to place the pile containing the bottom card on top of the other pile. Then ask the volunteer to deal the deck into four piles from left to right.

Pick up each pile and ask the volunteer if their card is in that pile. As you ask, reassemble the deck, making sure the pile with their card goes on the very top. Give the deck to the volunteer and have them deal the cards, one at a time face down on the table, spelling out the word "PRESTO". Have them turn the next card over. This is their chosen card!

Like the other guy said but I really don't care much about revealing the trick it is if you do. Anywho here is the most simplest one I know.

2 Card Appearance Trick

1.Get a stack of cards.

2.Shuffle them.

3.Spread them out a bit in your hands.

4.Let your friend or whoever choose 2 cards.

5.Make them put one on the bottom of one of the decks and top of the other.

6.Put the decks on top of each other.

-Review- !!!The cards they choose should be like this!!!

7.Shuffle the middle (don't make it so obvious that the cards they specifically chosen are directly on the top and bottom of the deck)

8.Now quickly hit the deck on your hand while one hand is holding the top and botom of the deck.

9.While you are still holding the top and bottom of the deck hurry and slip both cards from the top and bottom.  

10.Show them to him/her and ask if that is it.

-Practice- It is much needed to be able to do this without making a spill of cards.

Card Dissapearance

1.Get a stack of cards.

2.Divide them up to where some of them are still in your palm (laying flat with back of cards facing up) and some in your other hand (back of cards facing you) .

3.Let them see the top card in the deck of cards that are laying in your palm.

4.Once seen tell him/her to set the card back down and quickly hit the the deck of cards (that are in your hand) gently close to the edge of the cards that are laying in your palm.

5.During the hit use your middle finger and pointing/index finger to qiuckly scoop the back of the card that is in your hand with the back of the cards facing you.

-Review- !!!The new card from the deck should be on top of the card that he/her looked at earlier!!!    

6.Tell him or her to look at the top card of the deck (that is in your palm since you should have scooped the new card from the other deck during the the quick yet gentle hit) and ask them if that is it. If they say no make up your own magical words or make up some phrase like "Here it is" or "Well, I know where it is". Something to throw them off.

7.Then reveal them their card (that should be right under the new decoy card).

That is enough of the tricks from me. It is real hard to explain them but if you follow these steps and try to decode it and understand it you will see what I am saying. Good luck and I hope you like these.
