Card counting ?

does card counting really work? I have tried it on a free online black jack game and i seem to win more then i used to when i did not use card counting but lets say you played online for real money is there any chance of making a little bit of money from card counting at blackjack?.

The method i have been using is the low cards count at +1 and the higher cards -1 you start off at 0 and then place your bet accordingly. So lets say you had a score of +5 you would bet a higher amount.

Its seems to work on the free black jack and the blackjack on my k750 java game. Before i tried the above i used to loose allot at blackjack games.

  1. Wouldn't they use an unlimited number of decks, or start with a fresh one each hand online? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't make it so the game would be in your favor. You can give it a trial shot though.

I personally stay away from blackjack

  2. Card counting on Internet gaming sites does not work because on most sites they use a continuous shuffler algorhythm. And card counting does not work against a continuous shuffler.

Your method is pretty standard, and will work in B&M casinos if you apply it and find the right game with the right rules. Familiarize yourself with all the basic rules of blackjack and how they affect your play before you start.

Here are some rule variations and the effect that they have on a player's long-term profits.

    Early surrender +0.62%

    Late surrender Single deck +0.02%

    Double down after splitting +0.13%

    Drawing to split aces +0.14%

    Re splitting of aces +0.03%

Double down cards any number +0.20%

    2:1 payoff blackjack +2.32%

    Unfavourable Rules for the Player

no doubling on hard 11 -0.89%

no doubling on hard 10 -0.56%

no doubling on hard 9 -0.14%

    no doubling soft hands -0.14%

    dealer hits soft 17 -0.20%

dealer takes no hole card -0.13%

    2 decks (v single) -0.35%

    4 decks (v single) -0.51%

    6 decks (v single) -0.60%

    pairs no re splitting -0.05%

I suggest you also check out the Blackjack Betting Trigger, a method to increase your bet when the odds are favorable without counting cards. It works online too, in an honest game! Here is a link to get it for free:

    Good luck at the tables!

  3. You can not use card counting on the internet. You have no idea how many decks they use or even if it is not rigged. Card counting is excellent at a casino especially single deck.
