Card trick. How did he manipulate me to think of 10 of hearts?

I just experienced some card trick on me. The guy first asked a girl next to me shake and invisible box of cards.

Then she shook it and then he asked me to take the jokers from it. I did. Then he asked me to take one invisible card. He asked me for the card not to be the ace of spades as every man would want it. I thought of ten of hearts.

Then he took a real box of cards out of his pocket and asked me to tell the others the card I chose. I said: ten of hearts.

.

Then he showed us the cards and the last card was upside down and it was ten of hearts.

How the h**l did he make it!????
