Cardiff City eager to extend Aaron Ramsey loan deal
Cardiff City are reportedly looking to extend their current loan deal over Arsenal midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065. The team is now looking to keep the player with them till the end of the season, after their manager Dave Jones came forth and
stated that the player had become a vital part of their side. The manager is also looking to hold talks with Arsene Wenger in regards to this situation over the next couple of days, which would help determine what the future holds in store for Ramsey.
The 20-year-old joined the team in January, in hopes that his return to playing football from a double leg break would be easier, if he started off playing for a slightly lower placed club in England. However Cardiff at the same time,
are also the team that Ramsey was signed from by Arsenal in 2008 and according to Wenger, a return to his team of origin was just what the player needed to get his mind back in the game, as a leg break was very hard to get back from.
At the moment, Ramsey is set to return to the Emirates by the end of February, but if Jones can have his way, that won't be the case.
The Cardiff City manager is reported to have said, “We assumed he was going back after the month and if we can get him for longer than that, then that conversation I will have with Arsene”
“I don’t think he’s at the fitness levels to go back to Arsenal yet, then I’m going to say that because we want to keep him”
“He’s enjoying himself here. He’s with us for some more games and we will see where we go from there. Aaron’s doing well. It will be down to Aaron and Arsenal themselves to see what they think and where he’s at. But if we can keep him then fantastic.”
It would be hard to argue with Jones as Ramsey could use all the first team action that he gets, and if he is getting that at Cardiff, then perhaps he should stay there for the time being. This is because at the moment,
it is virtually impossible to see where Ramsey would fit into the Arsenal side.
The player has been thoroughly dropped down the pecking order, thanks to some brilliant performances by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 over the last few months and now Ramsey is going to have to earn his way back into the side. At the
moment the only way for him to do that is if he impresses on the pitch, something he can easily do at Cardiff.
