i want to get a pair of cardinals but i haven't seen any petstores that sell them so do you know of any breeders who ship them to canada it is illegal to have cardinals from north america but not ones that are imported from other countries also how much do they cost web sites are good

Cardinals are wild. U can't get them in pet stores sorry.

Get Zebra Finches. THEY'RE THE BEST!!

You cannot buy Cardinals. I believe the bird is protected anyway.

You are right..you cannot legally own any native bird..including Northern Cardinals. You can own non-native cardinals that have been bred specifically to be pets...check out his website:

Search for Brazilian or Red-crested Cardinals..they have a few for sale.
