Cardio Workout?

I am hoping to do well on the high school track team next year, but my heart is not very strong. Any tips on how to make it more durable? Also, if you have any suggestions on how to prepare for track, that'd be great too. Thanks!

  1. To develop your cardiovascular system you have to do regular distance running.

    It will get better as you adapt.

    Run for at least 20 to 30 minutes 5 times each week.

    After a month to 6 weeks you can increase the distance and do a tempo run once or twice each week.


  2. Go for a run, regularly. Gradually increase the speed and duration. Your endurance will improve with time.
