Cards Vs. Cubs?

I am going to the games in august 8/9 at wrigley, i was wonering how easy it would be to get tickets down at the stadium. b/c i was on the net a few months ago to get tickets and bleachers were already 150 bucks a piece. i figured the longer i wait, the mroe expensive they will get, until the day of the game, when scalpers will be pressed to get some money out of unsold tickets. has anyone used this approach for this series in wrigley??? how were the results?

Unfortunately, you will not be successful with this methodology.  Illinois is really cracking down on scalpers and you have two factors working against you:

- the Wrigley community has been pushing to have the crackdown because they see scalpers as a blight

- the Cub/Cardinal game is a big draw for scalpers so the police will be thick

You may have more success just checking the web-sites each day and see if someone has a commitment pop-up that will force them to sell their ticket.

they  are sold out, unless you want to pay 1,000 dollars! for the cubs? not worth it!

Wrigley has a big crowd every game. They should have some extras left though. They are probably going to cost you but hey its the Cubs! Worth it!

get the tickets i know its really exspensive but trust me ive been in those seats it was the best baseball game i have ever been to it was so much fun and its a better chance of getting a hit ball

It's possible that someone wasn't able to make it to the game,so you probably could get tickets but I can't assure that it will be cheap. It's not like Marlins games, where tickets are always available.

You could try ebay like the day of the game.

if not, you could try going to the stadium. There are alot of people waiting outside the red line doors selling tickets so your best bet would probably be there
