Care Packages Question? Address Dilema?

My friend was based in Europe before, I wanted to send him a care package and ask for his military address in Iraq, but he just say send it to the military address in Europe...Don't they have an address in Iraq where you can send the care packages to? Doesn't it take longer to forward the package from Europe to Iraq?

Yes, his "old" unit can forward it on to where he is now. He is most likely still with the same unit just forward deployed if he said to use the old address. They will get it to him.

For some companies, their APO address follows them downrange. It will get to him. Send him a few letters first once he gets downrange just to make sure. If they arent returned to you, he got them.
