The first thing you need to know about hydries is that they LOVE acid soil, so make sure they are planted in a low pH soil, or are in containers which receive acidic supplements.  The more acidic the soil, the bluer the blooms.  Otherwise you get the more pinkish blooms in neutral soil.  Read the link the previous poster offered.
