If you're talking about that overstocked tank, sadly, there's not much. Try returning some of the fish to the pet shop. If the tank is still overstocked, try and see if you can get some of your friends with aquariums to take them in. It'll take a bit for the Chinese Algae Eater. They need rather large tanks...

You could probably keep a few of the danios, and maybe the snail. However, until you can upgrade, that's probably all you can have at current.

  2. gravel clean it every two weeks and add some zeolite in the filter, this will keep your ammonia levels down. more fish more mess and more mess more ammonia.you dont need that.

  3. Your best option is to of course get a bigger tank. By overstocking you are increasing the bio load on the filter. The next best option is to find a new home for some of the fish you have, because fish grow a lot in 2 years. For the meantime, you can add an extra filter so that the fish don't die of ammonia poisoning. 1-2 times a week change the water and siphon your gravel. Most importantly of all, do not add anymore fish, it doesn't matter how small they look in the store.
