I took a small plant (about 6 inches high, not sure of species but I know it flowers eventually although its just thin leaves now) from a friends yard. I'm keeping in a terracotta pot about 1/2 gallon, with some garden soil. It looked ok for the first 2 days but now the lower leaves are looking yellow and the whole thing is wilted. What should I do?

  1. Make sure its getting the same amount of direct sunlight (unfiltered  sunlight) where it was previously located. If it requires the same amount of light there may be nothing you can do to save it other than putting it back outside. Also, be sure you are watering it every other day cause the roots are probably a little bit shocked from the transplant.
