Care package for little sister in college..yikes?

my sister moved last week to Florida for school. she is a freshman and has never really been away from home before. i want to send her a carepackage but i cant think of anything useful to send her.. heres what i have so far

~ roll of quarters for laundry

~ sunscreen

~ramen (as a joke..her school has awesome food)

~ pictures of the 2 dogs and the cat

the school colors are teal, blue and black and our hometown colors are green and gold so id like to try to incorporate those somehow

any ideas?

Your ideas are actually great. Think through if there's anything from near or in your home that either has special meaning to her (like the pets), or else isn't available at her school. Are there any special packaged foods? Brownies your mom makes? A stuffed animal she had as a kid that she still has at home? A book she loves? That sort of stuff would be great.

You could also send her a gift card, telling her she has to buy a college sweatshirt with it.

Some great suggestions have been given.  You could also include a package of jelly bellys in her school colors--can get these at Target---or MMs in school colors.  Tic-tacs.  A pedicure set.  A letter from the pets....

send her her favorite soaps/shampoos or other personal products. Those always come in handy when you have to share a shower with other ppl (they grow feet and walk away). Also, send her a gift card for Target/walmart, so she can decorate her room some.

You should make her like a study pack, full of goodies for her to munch on while she's studying. And put in some like pens and pencils.

Also, maybe some fun toy to help her de-stress!

This may not help too much, but try and walk through a day in her shoes in your head. Think of things that she uses but most people would not think of, such as chapstick! Well, maybe that is just me, but you get the idea. =D
