My cousin's son is in the hospital (just diagnosed with leukemia) and we would like to send him a care package to keep him entertained. I have never met him and can't reach his Mom to find out what his interests are, so any suggestions of what to send would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help!

  1. toy trucks playdough coloring books crayons books to read

  2. Movies!  Send him a bunch of dvd's.

  3. Some crayons and boy type coloring books, small games, matchbox cars, videos to watch , maybe one of those boards that you can write on and then erase.  Pocket size Doodle Pros are awesome!   Check out the boy's isle of toys at wal mart.  They have lots of things there.  I would probally enclose another small box with some lollies and candy in it, but address that box to his mom just in case he cannot have.  Don't forget to include a thinking of you note, along with a picture.

  4. Here are some things that most 5 year old boys like:

    -Toy cars

    -Toy Dinosaurs

    -Crayons and sketchbook

    -Easy books

    -Action figures

    -Movies

I rember from when my little brother was 5 which was two years ago.

Also on certian store wbesites like target there are gift finders that can really help www.target.com

    Hope he gets better soon

  5. Various books would work. Something he can cuddle with. Maybe a nice pair of jammies with robe and slipper s so he doesn't have to wear hospital stuff.  I've found that most boys his age love Spiderman...so when in doubt go with Spiderman.

God Bless you for reaching out to him and his family. Thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery.
