  1. Yes, Street Sense was just tremendous.  I was waiting for someone from just off the pace to come around and make a run on Hard Spun, but there was no one.  I was looking on the outside for Scat Daddy or someone and I missed Street Sense making his big move...  the announcer was yelling about it and I had no idea what was going on.  And then Street Sense came tearing around Hard Spun and I could see that no one was challenging them at all and my jaw dropped for the final furlong.  I still don't know how Borail managed that clean rail trip again, but I hope he can do it twice more in a row.  The Preakness is going to be quite a test for him if Hard Spun's out on the lead like that again... over a shorter distance, it'll be harder for Street Sense to catch him...  but SS passed HS at the top of the stretch... so he did it early enough that he'd be able to pass in the Preakness too.  I was so happy for Calvin...  I've never seen a happier jockey...  and I can't think of anyone who deserves it more.  Whether or not Street Sense can repeat with the Preakness and Belmont, I think he's well on the way to 3 year old champion status...  which would be quite an achievement.  Horses nowadays face such tremendous competition that the Triple Crown and other honors are so much more difficult to win than they originally were.  Street Sense is a very talented colt.  I can't wait to see what else he can do.

  2. Yeah that was amazing. Scat daddy was no where to be found, so i had no idea who was gonna win, then Street Sense comes outta nowhere. He's probably not gonna win the triple crown though.

o, can you put this as the best answer please?
