Career's Advice?

I'm currently only 14 years of age, i'm very good at math's (attend a univercity for gifted and talented) and am really into ICT, attempting to excel in currently by learning about computer hardware, web designing and programming in my own time.

I've been told if i excel in physics, and continue to excel in maths, i will be have a very promicing future.

Is they any career advice anyone can give me? What job's i could one day hope for? Or maybe an easy job i could do to start off, Please give ideas :)

  1. There are many kinds of jobs you could do. It just depends what you are interested in. Think about what interests you the most? Is it the technical design of the computers or integrating computers into everyday life? Then you could work for companies who design computers and create software. Are you fascinated by the use of computer imaging for entertainment? Then study graphic computer design in college. Robotics? Math, science, art, and business management are all good choices for classes.

As you continue your studies and meet others with similar interests, you will figure out what is best for you. When you are a junior or senior in high school, check out universities to see if they have summer intern programs for students like you. These are great ways to learn more about your field and see if that university is a good fit for you. You will also meet other students with similar interests that you can network with.

  2. I wouldn't worry about career choices at your age. By the time you enter the work force, jobs will exist that are only now being imagined. The best way to get a good career is to do good in school and be socially involved with people. Take electives you are interested in. Join a club. Keep an open mind.

  3. This one is such a tough question.   I have no doubt in your abilities.    But so much can happen between now and when you graduate from college.

Remember, only you can answer this question, as you're the only person living your life.
