Career Advice - Please!?

I'm 16 years of age and I've just finished by GCSE's and I will receive my grades on Thursday. But I wanted to ask people for some help regarding my future overall. I want to know if the following is possible:

I'm staying at school in the sixth form to study my A-levels for the next two years until I'm 18. Then after that, I wanted to go to college to retake any GCSE's or A-levels that I failed in. I'm unsure how long I would have to go to college for to do that but I'm guessing about one or two years. After college which by then I'll be able 19/20, I want to then go to university. Is that all possible? I'm really nervous about my results because I don't feel as though I done the best I could. That's why I'm trying to make ammends in the years to come because I know it'll be worth it. I want to get a decent job when I'm older so that I can enjoy life and raise a family without any financial problems. I know I'm capable to achieve great things and now I really want to put the effort in because I didn't try my best last year and it made me really depressed. I feel as though I'll be better off by staying in education instead of getting a full-time job now which my mate is doing. Thank you for any help. This is something that has been worrying me for a while and I really want to make the most of life.
