Career Question.?

Question

I m studing IT(Information Technology) & i m also interested in Astro-phyics / Astronomy. So what should i do after T.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) to get into IT department of Astro-physics / Astronomy ?

Do you want to be an astronomer who is handy with computers?  There's a lot of call for that.  If so, you need to pursue a PhD in physics/astronomy, which is probably going to require taking a lot of undergraduate classes in physics that you wouldn't have taken as an IT major.

Or do you want to be a network administrator type guy who works in a physics department or an observatory or something.  You are probably qualified to do that right now.  Look for job openings.
