Career as a Pilot..?

Now,I'm doing A-levels and what I have to do after finish it..My ambition is to be a commercial airlines pilot..I really don't know the pathways and anyone feel free to steer me..I have no idea what I should I do after finishing it..Should I enter any private flying academies or straight away apply for Cadet Pilot offers in Commercial Airlines..Please guide me..Crazy of being pilot..This year I'm gonna be 20 and this year will finish the A-levels..Am I too young?..or too old?..and If I enter means how long it takes for me to be a succesful pilot..Your guidance will make a h**l of difference in my life..Advance thanx,buddies..

  1. become an airforce pilot and try to pilot something like a c-17 because thats hella big and ull be able to fly anything... hope that helps


  2. No, No, young firend. Your age is just perfect. I suggest that it is better if you enter any private academies for further experience. On the other hand, if you become a cadet pilot right now, you might not gain success so easily but may be quicker to reach your ambitions

  3. Gidday mate what my friend's doing is he's taking up a course in the Air Force for around 2 years upwards from there, so he has the experience needed. After that, I think he applies for a commercial airlines and depending on how he does i think he gets the job or something like that; i know he's using the air force for flying experience; maybe that's what you could do? for maybe 2 years for the experience then quit and fly commercial
