I am a senior in high school. I can't decide on a career. I want to either be a social studies teacher teaching high school world geography and sociology, a special education teacher teaching elementary school specializing in learning disabilities, or a registered nurse for 5 years and then become a school nurse.

  1. nurse

  2. get an arts degree in teaching

  3. the answer lies within you..... like it not, no one but you can tell you what is your best life choice (And this is a life choice, it's effect will echo you're entire life)

concentrate on it when you're falling asleep.... the first thought you have of it, is usually the ANSWER....

this is becuase in your sleep you subconsious takes over, and the subconscious is ten fold more powerful then the conscious.

think about it, one o fthe most comlicated movements of human life is walking... even people spending billions are having a hard time imitating it with robots..... but this movement also generates from the subconscious...

  4. Congratulations on considering your future goals.  You are ahead of those who have no idea what they want to do.  Since every position you mentioned requires a college degree, this commonality can help you at a later time.  When you go to college, take a variety of classes... as many different general studies classes as you can the first year.  This is typical anyway, but it will allow you to explore a wide range of subjects and pursue those interests.  Join some organizations...perhaps Future Teachers of America or Future Nurses of the United States.  By joining both groups, you again give yourself time to explore what each career has to offer.  Hopefully, by your sophomore year, your completed freshman year will help guide you to your career choice.  You might also want to compare your choices at the government website the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.  You'll be able to compare salaries, job prospects, and career growth.  Good luck to you.

  5. I am starting college this year, and I am having trouble decided on a major.

I am currently a Broadcast Media major, but I was a theatre major...there are like to any things I want to do in life.
