Career in Geography?

Well im not in college yet, but what courses do I need to take in order get a career in geography?

whoa!..........it dosen't matter what it takes....do it!..I've never seen so many geography illiterates in my life as I'm seeing in the last 25 years!!....but be prepared, teaching basic geography to kids now with no/little background whatsoever will probibly be like entering "the dawn of man" era and trying to teach the apes physics..do it! do it! do it!..I think if I have to be exposed to another adult "not"be able to point  out(any)given state on the US map...I'm gonna throw something!!

It depends on what college you're going to.  Different schools have different requirements.  Geography majors usually take a mixture of cartography, anthropology, astronomy, earth science, computer courses.
