Career in health care?

I'm a 23 year old college student about to graduate with a degree in History. I've taken anatomy, a chemistry class, and physiology.

I went over to my girlfriends moms house and she asked me if I ever thought of getting into healthcare. She works in health care.

I will graduate with a 3.4, 6 years work experience between 2 jobs. I don't want to set the world on fire or make a millions dollars, just a meaningful existence.

Any idea what I could get into that I have a chance without a lifetime of school and debt?

  1. have you considered Physician assistant? they make great money and have a lot of prestige with far less school than Doctors Learn more at PureMedicalJobs.com good luck

  2. yes if that's what you want to do, do you want to become a doctor? if so I'd talk to a councler

you'r going to need much more lab work, organic chemistry, and way more science classes you;ll have to take the MCAT and then get as many recommendation letter's possible basically do anything to stand out to get into med school, its hard but not impossible.

or you could look into becomeing a technician, or an RN, there are plenty of other healthcare opportunities out there, and a decent way to make a living.

but if you want to be a doctor don't chicken out because you think it's too hard. Your live only once make the best of it.

  3. with your prior work you could become a registered nurse in 2 years or less.  that is a great spring board to many great things
