Career switch help?

ok, i m in a real fix.. i am about to complete my graduation as an electronics engineer (in a year) from a reputed, but lame college in India.. the thing is that my college is so lame, i havent learnt properly, a single thing for the last 3 years..

i might have made a big mistake by opting electronics too.. but maybe not.. i would like it if there were proper people teaching me.. but there are none at my college..

neither are the students interested in actual learning..

i am currently planning to apply to a university in the US, for some grad program related to electronics..

i know that my true love lies in pure sciences, like pure mathematics, or calculus, or physics..

and i m seriously considering a huge switch from electronics to maths..

please tell me if you think thats a good idea or not, cuz if i do take the switch, it would mean my grad degree in electronics wouldnt have much value

is it too risky to make such a change?

i would REALLY appreciate any help in this regard

  1. There is no point starting a career which you do not like. If you are thinking this way now, then it is only going to get worse in the many years to come.

Make the switch. You have nothing to lose.
