Career working in a recording studio?

I have a big passion for music. someday i'd like to work in a recording studio, not producing music, but like a receptionist

do i have to get some kind of education or go to schooling to get a job like this?

    You would not need a formal education.  Only the biggest facilities  have a receptionist.  Many studios like mine are too small to have a receptionist - all the available space is used to make music.  With that said, you should consider going to a Finishing School.  I know that may seem outdated but a receptionist that would be dealing with very high profile clients should have proper Image, etiquette & communication skills.  In other words, sophistication.

    Chewing gum, jeans and a pony tail probably wont work.
