Careers in Green Building?

I'm a Safety and Env. Manager for a mid-sized manufacturer. My boss is interested in me working on LEED certification for one of our buildings.

What careers are available to someone that has experiance with LEED certification? I have some experiance with construction I used to be a cement finisher. I was wondering if a person could open their own business with it.
