Carek Hendre Fourie back in England squad for Six Nations
Hendre Fourie the South African born flanker has replaced Joe Worsley and returned to the England’s squad to play against Italy in Six Nations on Saturday at Twickenham. He just recovered from a calf strain and was lucky to find and empty spot as Joe Worsley
has been allowed to play for Wasps this season.
Martin Johnson has so far made the only change in his side after this weekend’s fixtures, including the 26-19 win over Wales at Cardiff. The Leeds flanker’s injury had cost him being absent in previous match, but he proved he can come back after an untouched
win over Northampton Saints in LV=Cup fixture. Fourie even scored a try for his side and assisted in the next one during the first half, demonstrating his fitness.
Carek Hendrik Fourie is a professional rugby player, who is currently playing for Leeds Carnegie at Aviva Premiership. He mostly plays as a flanker and has given his best performances at this preferable position. He qualifies for England, even though he
was born in the land of Springboks. The 31 year old played his first match for his adopted country in 2010 against New Zealand as a substitution. His team mates call him with a friendly name ‘Shrek’. The 6ft 0in flanker came to England in 2005 when he was
signed by Rotherham Titans. He played with the club till 2007 and moved to Leeds Carngie, where he plays to date.
Hendre Foruie is an important selection for tht Martin Johnson’s side as he is looking forward to a successful Six Nations and restoring the England rugby at elite level.
On the other hand, Worsley is one of the twelve players from England who missed Six Nations willingly due to their club matches and in case of Worsley it was Aviva Premiership action. Though he played against Wales for England.
