Caribbean Cruise Question FOR YOU!!?

If you have ever been on a Caribbean cruise, what's your favorite shore excursion you ever did? Tell me, tell me!! I'm trying to decide on mine!

In Costa Maya we visited Mayan ruins.  Truly amazing.  A once in a lifetime experience that should not be missed.

Snorkeling for sure! 2 man boat ride....Kayaking....swinging through the forest (cayman islands), I would've said swimming with the sting rays b/c I had done it before the 2 people got stabbed from their tail, jet skiing is nice to b/c they take you around the island and into caves.

1. Cave tubing in the rainforest of Belize

2. Swimming with the stingrays on Grand Cayman

3. Sea kayaking to Pigeon Point on St. Lucia

4. Snorkeling (tie between Cozumel Chakanaab National Park and Pinel Island off St. Martin)

5. Hiking through the national park on St. John to Honeymoon beach. ( This was on our own)

6. Just a beach day on Antigua at Dickenson Beach (took a taxi on our own)

Horseback riding at the Bacab Eco Park in Belize!

OH MY GOSH- it was great!  We rode a bus to an eco-park outside of the city.  Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and was obviously proud to live there.  

Once we got to the park they let us off the bus and we went to a little outdoor restaurant area.  They took us in small groups to get our horses and then we all had guides.  The guides were amazing.  They told us all about their culture and growing up in Belize.  

After our horseback ride through the rainforest we went to the outdoor restaurant and had authentic Belize food that had been prepared.   The eco park raised their own chicken and fruit.  They made jerk chicken, rice and beans, and plaintains.  

Then there was a huge pool in the middle of the park where we swam and laid in the sun.  THere was even a waterslide built into the side of the rock.  

Then the bus took us back to the town and we caught our boat.

This was the most awesome thing I ever did on a shore excursion!  It was really worth the money!

Yes, I've been on several.  My favorite was a plantation/jungle tour of Jamaica.  My best time on cruises, however, were times when my husband and I set off on our own.  Probably the best was visiting the Baths on Virgin Gorda.

Canopy tour in Dominica with WackyRollers.

Hike to Salomon Bay beach in the National Park on St. John, USVI.

Goff's Caye in Belize.

Rum Point in Grand Cayman.

Jolly Pirates in Aruba.
