Is it possible to get a last minute booking onboard the Caribbean Princess August 2007? Do cruise liners get full up or never?

  1. Go to http://www.love.allabouthoneymoons.com  they can plan any type of trip not just honeymoons. If you tell them what you like and your budget they will plan the perfect trip for you.Best of all the service is free b/c the fee is paid by the hotel , resort or cruise line.

  2. + There are two ways to get a great deal. One is to start negotiating early Like NOW for August 2007 the other is to be on the pier on the day of sailing(this may be a little risky but they sometimes want to fill the ship and can sell the cruise for about 1/3 of the best price you can negotiate otherwise. Have your papers and baggage ready to go as soon as the old passengers leave. Have cash and a credit card. Pay with cash and secure the voyage expenses with the credit card. I have heard of some people who were left on the pier and others who had balcony staterooms for a 7 day cruise for a few hundred dollars each. Good Luck

  3. You should try to book it. If not, try try again.

  4. You can take your chances, but during the summer, I'd think the ships aren't full and you'll find a great deal.  Check out iBtraveling.com for some great cruise deals and last minute travel plans.

  5. Try this website. They have a 90 day ticker. Oh wait you want to book for August, you would have to wait to book until May. Try the website any how its good.

  6. Go to vacationstogo.com and you'll find out if anything is available.

  7. Yes, it is possible to get last minute bookings & yes, cruise ships DO fill to capacity. However, August tends to have space available, mainly due to people worried about hurricanes. Children are still out of school in August so many families take advantage of the decent rates.

This is how it usually works, the closer to the sailing date & the passenger capacity, the price will either go up or down. The more booked passengers the higher the price, less passengers, lower price. The cruise line will set aside X amount of staterooms at X price, when they are gone they are gone.

If you have an exact date in mind you should book it now. Your travel agent can then keep an eye on the price & you MIGHT be able to get the lower price ( usually this is allowed ) Also, there may be available upgrades, etc.

I also recommend purchasing travel insurance, that will help recover any losses you might incur.

    Hope this has helped!
