Caribbean T20: Guyana set up 5-wickets win over Windward Island
Guyana set up a five wickets win over the Windward Islands in their opener of Caribbean T20 championship at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown. Lennox Cush’s 4 for 25 well supported by a fifty from Travis Dowlin bagged the strong Guyana side a victory in a see-saw match.
Disciplined bowling well-aided by the attentive fielders restricted Windward to a gettable 157 for 8 in their 20 overs innings. Composed fifty from the opening batsman Travis Dowlin led his side to a 5-wickets victory in a match that was anybody’s game till its end.

Windward Island lost its 3 wickets on the four deliveries of the last over bowled by Cush. Aggressive innings of Lewis came to an end on the second ball of last over as he spooned a catch to AB Fudadin off Cush.
