Caribbean and Mexico visa for cruise passengers (non -US citizen)?

Any one who had experienced on cruise... Please help me!!

I'm holding USA student visa (F1). My nationality is Thailand. My husband and I are planning travel to Caribbean (i.e. Cayman Island, Jamaica, Mexico etc) by cruise line.

Do I need to get visas from each country visited? I know that US citizens and permanent residents don't need any visas. Base on itinerary, the cruise ship will stop at the port in the morning and departure in the evening. The cruise passengers will have 6-7 hours to spend on each stop.

I'm intend to remain in the island during the stay of the vessel by which they arrived and to depart on the same vessel. Do I need to apply visa?

Thank you so much

PS: I know that there are many questions already asked about this ... but no one can confirm that even though I asked the cruise specialist.

  1. Cruise ship passengers do not need a visa for Mexico no matter what their nationality is. See 1st website and read the sentence in tiny black print just under the line in red print that begins,"Starting Jan. 23....".  For Jamaica...the consulate website specifically says that cruise ship passengers do NOT need a visa.  See2nd website.  I cannot find any information of this type for the Cayman Islands.  I believe that cruise ship passengers do NOT need visas regardless of their nationality, however, CALL your cruise line and see if they can give yu more specific info on your other stops.
