Caribbean or bahama cruise which cruise lines are best?

My wife and I are looking to go on a 3-5 day cruise but I don't know which company to choose. Please give some advice.

go with timing of cruise and budget. They are all good. Royal Caribbean is a good cruise line. Carnival has great destinations too.

Carnival now owns Princess cruise lines.

Princess cruise or Royal Caribbean Cruise line is a good start and there is also the Disney Cruise Line as well.  Since you are planning just a 3-5 day why not also consider the Windjammer barefoot cruise as well.  Cruises can be tricky so make certain you research things like health care, port entry tariffs etc because on multi national cruises some of your souvenirs may not be welcome back with the rest of your luggage.  It is also interesting to note that wherever the ship is registered the laws of that country may apply to your voyage.  It is a peculiar fact of the industry.  Good luck, cruises are a lot of fun and the people you meet along the way are probably going to impact your trip but just recall your wife is the real reason these places and people will mean anything.

I use to work for Princess Cruise Lines, they are good people... however plan to get sick no mater what line you go on. With that many people packed into a ship there are ALWAYS nasties floating around.  If you insist on going carry small hand sanitizers in your pockets and use it often.  Like every time you touch something.  And don't touch your face with your hands after touching anything... use the sanitizer.  Spend a lot of time on open air decks too.  Enjoy :-)
