Caribbean waters during winter?

i'm going on a cruise this week to the caribbean. key west, & cozumel. i'm kind of scared of the cruise ship rockyness. how are the caribbean waters during this time of the year? are they calm? thanks.

I went in January and it was SMOOTH and awesome. The cruise ships are so big and balanced, you will not feel a thing unless there are the worst kind of storms - which they try to avoid.

I was there this time last year and the seas were pretty rough. I have been on 6 total cruises and it was the rockiest but I think there were storms in the gulf last year. They had drugs at the pursers desk for sea sickness which helped immensely

Average 1-2ft. Max 6ft. Unless it a hurricane or tropical storm.

You can't feel any of that on a cruise ship.
