Has anyone been there? I'm going to the one in Sacramento. If you've been there, how's the place, service, food?

  1. I've eaten there a few times and always liked it.  I remember a primavera pasta that was really good and their bread is delicious!

  2. I was there with friends last week and I happen to live in Sac. We had only appetizers though such as shrimp scampi with sarlic toast and hand-breaded calamari with marinara sauce. For wine, I had Coppola pinot grigio. I usually hate marinara dips, but that one was very good. When you are going there for dinner and if you like it busy go there around 6:30-7:00. There is one area where it is a little dim if you are looking for a little romance. It has a small fireplace and you might want to make reservations.

If you want authenticity and price is not a problem, go to Bibas restaurant i downtown. She's a famous author and chef.

  3. My father ate at one in my town and didn't like it. He ordered spaghetti with Italian sausage.  He said the sausages were burned beyond recognition. He said never again will I eat there.  As it turns out some friends of his decided to go there and they dragged him along, when he came home that night he said, welll guess what....... the sausages were burned again, the way he described it they were completly black--- even in the middle   sigh...

  4. I've been to the one where I live and I like the food, more traditional than Olive Garden, tastes fresh, the mozzarella sticks are GREAT.  Good portions, never had bad service, the atmosphere is both family and intimate.
