Carl Ablett of Leeds Rhinos included in England’s final squad - Rugby

In an announcement made by Engalnd management on Monday, October 10, Carl Ablett along with Rangi Chase have been included in England’s squad for the Gillette Four Nations Series, which is scheduled to start off at the end of this month.
Ablett is one of seven Leeds Rhinos’ players from Super League who have been selected for Steve McNamara's 24-man squad for the matches against Wales, Australia and New Zealand. Four players from St. Helens and two from Wigan Warriors will embark on England’s
outfit.
The rumours about Joel Tomkins is gaining rave reviews as it has been reported that the prop is going ahead with switching codes to join in with Saracens.
Ablett had acknowledged his inclusion in England’s squad after his side’s Grand Final title decider’s 32-16 win over Saints. The prop had fractured his cheek bone during their last match of Super League’s regular season.
Last year, Rhinos did not have any representation from their side to the Super League Dream Team, but their late surge to form, has won Ablett along with six other players the honour of being part of the dream team.
This season’s pick from Rhinos includes; Ben Jones-Bishop, Jamie Peacock and Ryan Bailey.
Leeds’ two times man of the match of Grand Final, Rob Burrow, has been missed out, because of his rib injury, which had troubled the half-back during the recent weeks.
Michael Shenton who sustained a shoulder injury during the title decider at Old Trafford, had  been ruled out of England’s squad, along with Chris Bridge of Warrington Wolves, Eorl Crabtree of Huddersfield Giants, Sean O’ Loughlin of Wigan  and Sam Burgess
of South Sydney.
Jonny Lomax of Saints also makes it through successfully along with Australian Chris Heighington, Gareth Widdop, Jack Reed and Gareth Ellis, into the finalised squad for England.
This squad will play the warm-up international match against France at Avigon, on Friday, before playing their opening Four Nations game against Wales on Saturday, October 29, at Leigh.
Two more players from Rhinos, Zak Hardaker and Chris Clarkson, will be part of the England Knights squad for Saturday's game against France at Leigh.
