Carl Froch: I am coming with dynamite on both hands and I will be ready to explode – Boxing news
The two-time and reigning World Boxing Council’s Super Middleweight champion Carl Froch is fully charged ahead of his much-anticipated bout with the current World Boxing Association’s World Super Middleweight champion Andre Ward on October 29, 2011.
Froch and Ward will take on each other in ‘Winner takes all’ final of the Super Six Classics Tournament in Atlantic City. This bout is the biggest bout so far for both fighters, as it will have all three WBA, WBC belts and the prestigious Ring Magazine’s
titles on the line.
Thus the 34-year-old Nottingham’s Cobra, Froch, who has won 28 of his 29 professional fights, with 20 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, believes it will be an explosive fight.
Froch vowed he will enter the ring to fight and will outclass the undefeated American pugilist, Ward, who has won all of his 24 professional fights, with 13 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout.
“I am coming with dynamite on both hands and I’ll be ready to explode on the night,” said Froch.
Froch and Ward both are considered as the best super middleweight contenders in the world. Therefore, Froch thinks only a few will be able to forget this fight.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “It’s been a long road. This press tour and the tournament itself have allowed the two best fighters in the division to rise to the top. And now we are set to face off for some serious hardware. This is the essence
of sport. The best against the best. And the sweet prize for the victor makes this a win-win for the fans of boxing.”
The 27-year-old Ward in the meanwhile also commented. Ward said, “He’s standing in my way and I’m standing in his way. So someone’s got to get out of the way.”
