Carl Jenkinson wants Arsenal to maintain the form that they have picked up – Premier League Update
Arsenal defender, Carl Jenkinson has gone on to admit that it would be a shame for the Gunners to lose the form that they have developed over the course of the last few weeks. The defender believes that the team has finally gotten their head back to where
it should be and they should try and keep it right there.
The team drew their Champions League game with Marseille last night, but they are more than likely to go on and make it through to the knock out stage of the tournament.
The team is now set to take on West Brom this coming weekend in the Premier League and Jenkinson wants the team to continue performing the way they did against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
Jenkinson, when talking about the team and their spirit, along with the form they have shown, is quoted to have said: “We want to win games - even though we got a draw today - and we kept that run going. It's vital that we keep that momentum going. We're
playing well at the moment and we just want to keep getting result”
The defender then went on to talk about the game against Marseille as he is quoted to have said: “Tonight we wanted the three points but we've still kept that unbeaten run going so that is positive.”
“We kept a clean sheet and that's positive - at the end of the day it's in our own hands. We wanted to win the game so in that sense it's disappointing but a point is not a disaster.
“Of course, we're above them on head-to-head and at the moment we're top of the group so it's in our own hands. I'm sure we'll go on and finish off the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 now.”
Over the course of the last few weeks, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have gone ahead and shown a real positive aspect to their game play. Even if the team goes on to concede a lot of goals, they almost always manage to outscore their opponents and take home all three points.
Jenkinson himself has been at the heart of the Gunners defence, following the long term injury to Carl Jenkinson. The full back has come into the squad in a time of need and has managed to put in some performances, which are bound to put him in line for
an international call up in the near future.
All in all, should Arsenal keep playing the way they have been, they are bound to win a trophy this season.
