or have they had brain transplants as Duke of Edinborough seems two faced wont have anything to do with Fergie his daughter in law after her young misdemeanors even though she is still the mother of his grandchildren and what about Andrew and Koo Stark who only appeared topless and was demonised by the royals. I know the French are alot more liberated when it comes to s*x. And poor old Gordon just went wobbly at the Knees did not know what he was doing although nothing unusual there. Brilliant miss Sarkosky or whatever your name is now doing it for the girls.What do you think

You mustn't forget that Carla Bruni Tedeschi is from a rich Italian family of Torino with an excellent formation in Switzerland as all rich Italians have. And now whether you like it or not she is la prima donna de la Grande Nation.

Gordon Brown, persuing an old British tradition, looks for the balance of power in Europe avoiding that Germany becomes to strong again on the Continent.

And last but not  least don't  forget that an agreemnt with France on the exploitation of atomic energy means big business. And money, is money even for the royals.

I don't think so.

They can do what they like with the likes of Fergie or Koo Stark as that is within their family and they do have a right to treat their family as they see fit.

Ms Bruni is different. She is like or not the wife of the French president. Thus protocol would dictate that if they met him they would have to meet his wife. Failure to do so would mean a major diplomatic incident.

My guess is they would have been made aware of who she is/was, but prior to meeting her wouldn't have even known she existed let alone her colourful past

So no it wasn't a publicity stunt and I don't see how she was "doing it for the girls"? she was there because she had to be.
