The Catalan manager, Tito Vilanova, received good news as his club captain, Carles Puyol, is finally back in training after having a knee surgery during the summers.
Last season Barcelona did not only lose their chances of winning the Spanish La Liga and the UEFA Champions League; in fact, they also lost one of the best managers in their history, Josep Guardiola.
The Catalan coach joined Barcelona back in 2008 and since then he helped them lift 14 trophies under his tenure.
However, last season he decided to part ways with the club, after failing to achieve the same success which he did during the past seasons.
