Carleton University vs. York?

Question

I'm not wondering which school is better nessecarily, but what are the differences between Carleton University in Ottawa and York University in Toronto. Any observations, general comments?

Education is the same, they are both of good standing.

York University is sandwiched in the most ghetto neighbourhood imaginable.

Carleton U is not. Carleton's campus also has an underground heated tunnel system so during the winter/rain you can get across campus safely. Some residence students never even go outdoors for 3 months, and you'll see the odd student here and there going to class in their p.j's and slippers.

York has tunnels but they have been closed for many years due to violence and crime.
